Banaue's Hanging Houses

I am new to Aminus3 and the above picture is my supposed first photo upload. "And everybody falls the first time."
I didn't know that it is only a picture a day. And the first successful upload of this photo was overwritten by the "The Famous Rice Terraces", including its colorful description in which I had trouble remembering.
So please bear with me...

It is a picture of houses built literally on mountains. And I can't imagine how they installed their own comfort zones considering that building ones house in a clear lot is already hard enough.
An awe-inspiring scenario which I think can be attributed to the more than centuries old of culture they posses.
